Pregnancy + Fertility

Whether you’re pregnant, or planning to be, we’re here to help.

Pregnancy

A range of options are available for expectant families in how they choose to manage pregnancy and deliver their babies.

One option which many families choose is GP Antenatal shared care, which is is an arrangement between a GP and a maternity hospital or other birthing facility.

Under this arrangement, you’ll see your GP for most routine check-up appointments, and visit the hospital in early and later pregnancy for ultrasounds and specialist appointments. Our doctors are closely involved with the GP Antenatal shared care programs at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Canterbury Hospital in Sydney’s Inner West.

We can also recommend and refer to many excellent obstetricians who deliver babies at different hospitals across Sydney if you would prefer to go privately.

Fertility

A person’s experience with falling pregnant can vary enormously. For many, additional assistance is required when people are finding that things are not going to plan. We can help patients arrange investigation and treatment, where required, to enable their family plans to come to fruition.

We are experienced at explaining and arranging the initial investigations which are required to start the process of fertility treatment. It can save a lot of time and money to have appropriate testing performed before being referred to a specialist fertility centre. Did you know there is also a new Medicare rebate you may be eligible for to cover the cost of certain fertility tests?

Unplanned Pregnancy

We provide advice for unplanned pregnancies, including medical advice and decision-making support. We also provide the option of Medical Abortion within our service.
